šŸ Halfway Through – VSSC 2025 Leaderboard Shuffles!

HomeĀ  /Ā  Latest NewsĀ

We’re two rounds down and two to go in the 2025 Victorian StateSuper Sprint Championship — and if the leaderboard is anything to go by, we’re in for a wild second half.

At the top, last year’s champ. Adrian Jarvis (A4) is hanging onto 1st place overall in his BMW M2 Competition… but only just. Mark Bone (E2) is breathing down his neck after a strong second round in the PRB Clubman. Just one point separates the two. That’s nothing over a season.

Paul Fixter (D3) has been super consistent in the Audi TT and sits comfortably in third. Meanwhile, Peter Tomaskovic (A4) and Jon Chadwick (B4) round out the top five after quietly stacking points in both rounds.

Some fresh faces made a splash in Round 2:

  • Thomas Stockdale (E4) showed up and walked away with 100 points in his Porsche GT3 Cup. Not bad for a debut!
  • Stephen Emery (A3) and Ben Sturgess (A2) also came in strong with top-5 scores in class, despite missing the opener.
  • Craig Armstrong-Fray (A3) in the Mini Cooper S popped into the standings too — let’s see if he returns to build on it.

On the flip side, Graham Bentley (A4) — last year’s runner-up — was missing from Round 2 after a solid start at Round 1. If he’s back for the final two rounds, expect some leaderboard chaos. He’s a fast one.

Scott Rowe and Denis McDade (A2) are neck-and-neck in their Toyota 86s, separated by just five points. Watch that space.
Jordan James (K4) and Thomas Stockdale (E4) are currently the class leaders with perfect scores — one event, one win each.

And let’s not forget Category J – Non-Logbooked, where there’s a battle brewing. Sae Weng Ng leads in J4, while George Whenn and Clayton Sinclair are also on the board.

Even your fearless VSSC Chair, John Beck, has made some slow and steady progress. Doing his best to avoid the bottom spot. Let’s call it ā€œdevelopment season.ā€

Don’t forget to check the Leaderboard for full results.

Next up: Winton – Sunday, August 17.
The short straights, twisty technical, and always-unpredictable weather make this a proper driver’s circuit. If you’ve been holding back, now’s the time to get on track – entries are open and filling fast!

Can Adrian hold on? Will someone new break into the top 5? Who’s going to surprise us next? Find out at Winton.
