VSSC 2025 Season Wrap-Up 🏁

After three action-packed rounds across Victoria’s best circuits, the 2025 Victorian State Super Sprint Championship (VSSC) has crossed the finish line — and what a ride it’s been!
We had perfect weather, sideways rain, and some of the tightest results we’ve ever seen.

Outright Champions Awards

Mark Bone claimed the outright title in his PRB Clubman (E2) with an impressive 288 points, edging out last years winner Adrian Jarvis in the BMW M2 Competition (A4) on 286.
A rare dead heat for third saw Paul Fixter (Audi TT, D3) and Peter Tomaskovic (BMW M3 Competition, A4) share the podium on 272 points apiece.

The Year That Was

Round 1 kicked off clean and fast, Round 2 was a wet-weather masterclass, and Round 3 brought redemption for many. Unfortunately, our fourth and final round at Sandown (FFCC) was abandoned mid-event due to worsening conditions and a major incident.
While disappointing, the decision — made jointly by the Clerk of Course and Stewards — was the right one for safety. As a result, the FFCC Sandown round was declared non-counting for championship points.

Despite the setback, the 2025 season delivered close racing, great camaraderie, and plenty of “one more tenth” stories around the paddock.

Looking Ahead to 2026 🚀

The championship continues to grow — with at least five, possibly six rounds planned for 2026, and a broader spread of clubs and venues getting involved.
Expect bigger fields, closer points battles, and a few surprises in store.
