VSSC Round 3 – Championship Heats Up!
After three rounds of the 2025 Victorian Super Sprint Championship, the battle at the top of the outright standings is tighter than turn 9 at Winton.
Mark Bone (PRB Clubman, E2) holds a narrow lead on 288 points, chased hard by Adrian Jarvis (BMW M2 Competition, A4) on 286 – just two points in it! The fight for third is even closer, with Paul Fixter (Audi TT, D3) and Peter Tomaskovic (BMW M3 Competition, A4) locked together on 272 points apiece.
Just behind them, Jon Chadwick (BMW 135i, B4) and Scott Rowe (Toyota 86, A2) are keeping the pressure on, showing that consistency across rounds is just as important as outright speed. With one more round to run, the championship is wide open — one slip or one perfect run could shuffle the order completely.
Further down the table, we’ve seen standout single-round performances from Jordan James (WRX STI, K4) and Thomas Stockdale (Porsche GT3 Cup, E4). And speaking of Jordan — let’s just say the briefing warning about cold tyres came true quicker than expected. On the very first green lap at Turn 1, Jordan took a detour off-track, later admitting that as he was spinning, he could hear the words from the briefing running through his head. Consider that lesson well and truly reinforced!
Category J – Non-Logbooked
In the ever-entertaining Cat J, George Whenn (Lotus Elise S, J2) leads the way on 20 points, keeping ahead of Sae Weng Ng (Toyota 86, J4) and John Beck (WRX STI, J4). With new names joining every round, this class continues to deliver plenty of variety and some wild machinery.

The Road Ahead
With only a handful of points separating the front-runners, the next round promises fireworks. Will Bone hang onto the lead, or will Jarvis slip past? Can Fixter and Tomaskovic close the gap, or will another challenger appear from the pack?
