Round 1 Sandown Results Are In

Round 1 of the 2026 Victorian Super Sprint Championship is complete, and the first outright and category standings of the season are now live.

Sandown gave us a fast start to the year, with quick laps, early points on the board, and the first shape of the championship emerging.

Outright highlights

Adrian Jarvis set the outright benchmark for Round 1 with a 1:17.7703, the fastest lap of the event.

He was followed on outright time by Doug Macleod with a 1:18.9570, while Aden Rodrigues rounded out the outright top three with a 1:19.1705.

In the championship standings, Adrian Jarvis, Doug Macleod, Stephen Carron, Stephen Emery and Scott Rowe all leave Round 1 with 10 points, making it a tight start at the top.

VSSC is not just about one strong result — consistency across the season is what wins championships.
