Why This Round Matters
Winton is a great test for supersprint competitors. It rewards clean braking, consistent laps, good corner exits and the ability to keep the car tidy over a full session.
With the 2026 VSSC points system rewarding class performance and real competition, every round matters. A strong result at Winton can help build early championship momentum, especially with only two rounds required to qualify for championship recognition.
Whether you are chasing points, testing your car, learning the circuit, or simply looking for a well-run day with plenty of track time, this is a round worth getting entered for.
New Competitors Welcome
The VSSC caters for a wide range of vehicles, from road-based cars through to modified track cars, historic/classic vehicles, open/race cars and non-logbooked competition cars.
The 2026 class structure has been simplified to make it easier for competitors to work out where their car fits. If you are unsure which class applies, check the current VSSC Sporting and Technical Regulations before entering.
Getting your class right early helps keep the results fair and saves everyone from a paperwork rodeo later.
